You use S2 in your business. What would you say is its greatest benefit?
"That's a good question, but it's also a bit difficult, as we're an outsourcing company. Everything we do is based on the S2 system, especially the salespeople who work in S2. It's their main tool. We wouldn't manage without S2.
Anders explains how the strength of S2 lies in the flexibility of new versions and services that build on the salespeople's existing tool.
"We chose S2 from the start, five years ago, and we think it works well for us to work with. We appreciate the opportunity we have had to develop S2 over the years. S2 has helped us find new solutions, new ways of doing things and new services. Our entire business hinges on S2's working smoothly and well."
One of S2's appreciated features is the Geo-optimization that Fortis uses extensively in its operations.
"Geo-optimization is great. It helps us in a smooth and smart way to schedule bookings so as to minimize driving times. We can set the maximum driving time between bookings to make it fit as well as possible. Then there is "Geo-optimization against numbers", where we tag phone numbers against certain locations. Then it always calls the customer from a local number."
Smart, smooth and flexible
"I think it's smart that you can have telephony in S2. We have previously called from an external IP service but we then realized that it wasn't necessary, you can call through S2 Voice. It became a convenient tool to work in. The fact that it is scalable is important to us, the flexibility of S2 allows us to have adjustments implemented. It's not impossible and you're just a call away."
